Hello- I have a judgement or finiancial responsibility against me from the State of MI for roughly $70,000. Can I file bankruptcy for that type of debt? Thanks, Christine |

Is this a judgment by the State of Michigan arising from an automobile accident you were involved in? Were you uninsured at the time of the accident? Was there property damage you are accused of causing? Have you lost your drivers license as a result, and wish to reinstate it? If the answer to these questions is yes, then a personal bankruptcy will discharge this debt, and you will be able to obtain your drivers license immediately upon discharge. |
